Barnsley Football Club can confirm that Elvis Otim has joined Sheffield FC on a youth loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old midfielder has featured 16 times for Martin Devaney’s U23s side this campaign and scored a dramatic late leveller as the young Reds drew 3-3 at Hull City back in January.
Otim, who arrived at Oakwell in the summer following a successful trial, was also on the bench as Barnsley beat Bradford City in the Checkatrade Trophy earlier this season.
He will link up with Gavin Smith at Sheffield FC, who are currently third in the Northern Premier League Division One East and are pushing hard for promotion.
With six games of the campaign remaining, the oldest club in the world are four points behind Pontefract Collieries in second and one point clear of fourth place Brighouse.

Everyone at Barnsley FC wishes Elvis the best of luck in his loan move.
