Barnsley Football Club can confirm that Will Smith has signed for Vanorama National League side Harrogate Town.
The 20-year-old central defender captained our U23s side last season and went onto make his first team debut in the Checkatrade Trophy victory over Bradford City in November.
He made nine appearances for Martin Devaney’s team in the 2018/19 Professional Development League campaign before moving to Darlington on loan in December.
Everyone at Oakwell would like to wish Will the very best for the future and thank him for all of his efforts during his time with the Club.
The transfer is subject to FA and National League approval on Monday 1 July 2019.
