We are currently seeking casual matchday workers for a variety of roles at Barnsley Football Club.
50/50 Half Time Draw Seller – this is a commission only based role. Earnings are dependent on the number of draw tickets sold. You will also be eligible to watch the remainder of the game free of charge when your shift ends.
Turnstile Operator - The hours of work are 1 hour 45 minutes before kick off until 10 minutes after kick off. The rate of pay is £19 per shift and you will be welcome to stay in the stadium to watch the remainder of the game once your shift ends. The main duties are scanning pre-purchased season and match tickets using a hand held scanner and also checking the eligibility of anyone in possession of a concessions ticket.
Car Park Steward – The hours of work are three hours pre-kick off and up to one hour post-match. The rate of pay meets National Minimum Wage.
General car park duties including ensuring supporters park in the correct area, scanning pre-purchased car park tickets, controlled exit post-match. Car parks close 5 minutes after kick off, you will then be welcome to watch the game free of charge.
