Striker signs permanent deal at Oakwell after initial loan spell, for an undisclosed fee.
Barnsley Football Club can officially announce that Cauley Woodrow has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Reds, joining permanently after his initial loan spell from Fulham FC.
The Club are delighted to see the striker, who turned 24 last month, put pen to paper, confirming that he becomes a long-term member of Daniel Stendel’s side after scoring seven goals in 14 matches since his return to action.
Chief Executive Gauthier Ganaye, stated: “We knew this deal was going to happen but it’s great to get it done and over the line. We had a good idea of what we would get with Cauley, but he’s certainly surpassed all of our expectations with how he has performed. He’s signed a long contract which shows how happy he is with us and how much we value him, he’s a big signing for the club and we share the same ambitions. The fans have a right to be excited about this news!”
