Barnsley Football Club can confirm the signing of Marcus Grima on loan until the end of the season.
The midfielder, 18, will link up with Martin Devaney’s U23s side following his arrival from Maltese side St Andrews FC.
A current Malta U21 international, Grima has also represented his nation at U19 level and joins Michael Mifsud and Daniel Bogdanovic on the list of Maltese players to have signed for the Reds.
Grima is the second addition to the U23s in the winter transfer window following the signing of Uruguayan forward Mateo Aramburu.
