Winger heads to Fratton Park on loan until the end of the season.
We can confirm that 26-year-old winger, Lloyd Isgrove, has today joined fellow Sky Bet League One side Portsmouth FC on a loan deal until the end of the 2018/19 season.
Isgrove hasn’t featured for the Reds since coming on as a substitute against Portsmouth, in December’s 1-1 draw at Oakwell.
He now joins the south-coast side in an area he knows well, having previously come through Southampton’s academy.
We would like to wish Lloyd the very best of luck, as he starts a new journey.
Chief Executive Gauthier Ganaye offered the following comment: “Having spoken with both Daniel [Stendel] and Lloyd at the beginning of this transfer window, it was always our intentions to find a solution. Lloyd only has six months left on his contract and he isn’t featuring in the current plans, so both the club and the player were happy to find a new club for him. We are happy to see him head back to an area he is from to be near his family.”
