Palmer Construction and CK Beckett Charity game

26 April 2019

Staff from Palmer Construction and CK Beckett will be taking to the Oakwell pitch on Monday to raise funds for Weston Park Cancer Charity.

The event coincides with Barnsley Football Club’s final home game of the Sky Bet League One campaign against Blackpool, which is a dedicated Weston Park takeover day – as you’ll see from our purple edition of the popular BE RED matchday programme.

For any fans wishing to attend our sponsors’ fundraising game on Monday 29 April, you can watch the action from the West Stand, kick-off at 7pm. Entry is £3 for adults and free for children under the age of 16, although any further contributions will be greatly appreciated.

Supporters are able to park in the South Stand car park for this event and refreshments are available to purchase from the West Stand kiosk.

In addition, there will be a raffle draw with prizes donated by businesses from within the local area – all proceeds raised will go to Weston Park.

Simon Dennis, Managing Director at Palmer Construction said: “Following the success of last year’s match, we are delighted the Club have again allowed us to host the charity football match on the Oakwell pitch. Both ourselves and CK Beckett are long-time supporters of Weston Park Cancer Charity and through the match we aim to raise awareness of the fantastic work of the charity and provide support to help those living with cancer and their families.”

If you would like to donate to this truly worthy cause but are unable to attend the event at Oakwell, you can pledge money online at: uk.virginmoneygiving.com/palmer-ckbeckett

The Club would like to thank both Palmer Construction and CK Beckett for organising another event that greatly benefits our community.
