Barnsley FC are delighted to announce a record day of Membership sales during the Early Bird sales period.
Monday (29/04/19) saw 1,168 supporters secure their seat at Oakwell for the 2019/20 campaign, more than ever before on one specific day.
With the Early Bird window closing at 11:59pm on Tuesday evening (30/04/19), Barnsley's fan-first pricing strategy, combined with an entire Sky Bet League One season unbeaten at Oakwell seems to have captured the imagination of supporters.
Finance and Operations Director, Rob Zuk said: “Monday was a fantastic day of sales. 1,168 is a combination of both renewals, rejoiners and new supporters and it certainly reflects the current optimism of our fanbase.
“Daniel Stendel, his staff and squad deserve immense credit for their unbeaten streak, as do the Box Office staff, who have worked tirelessly all month to meet the demand!
“We’re delighted with the way supporters have responded to the Early Bird sales period. Here’s hoping for another successful season at Oakwell.”
Supporters have until 11:59pm on Tuesday (30/04/19) evening to secure their seat at the cheapest possible rate for the 2019/20 season.
