There will be an increased police presence at Oakwell this afternoon ahead of, during and after the Sky Bet League One match with Walsall FC.
The club has been in constant communication with South Yorkshire Police and we would like to thank them for their updates.
Supporters of both Barnsley FC and Walsall FC are asked to remain vigilant and report anything they deem suspicious.
