Introducing Two Roses Brew Co...

7 September 2018

Using only the finest ingredients, good old Yorkshire water and time, the team really do love what they do. Good beer takes knowledge, hard work, patience, love and a little tasting from time to time.

With a passion for “Real Ale”, the Two Roses Brew Co at Darton, just of the M1 at Junction 38, are capable of producing 576 gallons per week.

Their beer is brewed on an 8 barrel plant (a barrel being 36 gallons), so 288 gallons are brewed per day.

The first beer produced at Two Roses was First Edition (back in March 2011), a pale hoppy 4% beer. This type of session beer has been our trademark ever since.

Beer Fest Highlights:

Cascade – A 4.2% Pale Single Hop. Using Cascade hops, this pale ale gives a spicy aroma with grape and citrusy notes with a distinctive white wine fruitiness.

Auckand - The 4% South Pacific Pale Ale is a heady mix of quality New Zealand hops including one of our favourites, Nelson Sauvin, giving citrus notes.
