Clash with Premier League U21 side scheduled for early November.
The Reds will play their second match in Group F of the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday 6th November, 7:30pm kick-off.
A comeback win at Oldham Athletic has given Daniel Stendel’s side three points in Group F, after Victor Adeboyejo and George Moncur scored either side of half-time to cancel out Sam Surridge’s opener.
The Reds will take on Everton U21s, before completing the group fixtures a week later at home to fellow Sky Bet League One side Bradford City, on Tuesday, November 13th.
