Open from 1.30pm and based in the Investment Room East Stand Upper, the newly refurbished Family Zone is the best place for young children to sit and experience the match.
The Family Zone is a regular host to a number of exclusive and child friendly activities for the entire family to get involved with throughout the season. There is also a unique catering menu, featuring special options created specifically for children. All activities will be run pre-match, and once the action is underway, they will be carefully stored until the next home fixture.
Take a look at what we've got in store for you this weekend:
1. Face-Paint
Donna’s Face painting will be based in the Family Zone this weekend. They’ll be around from 1.30pm up until kick-off, so be sure to visit them and get in to the Halloween spirit.
2. Meet Toby Tyke
No visit to Oakwell would be complete without meeting our mischievous mascot, Toby Tyke. Toby will be prowling around the Family Zone prior to kick-off, so be sure to grab him for a selfie and hi-five.
On this occasion, Toby will also be ‘trick-or-treating’. If you’re dressed up, be sure to stop and scare him!
3. Giveaways
Across the course of the 2018/19 season, a number of items will be given away in the Family Zone. This week Reds Head Coach, Daniel Stendel has signed a number of pictures for supporters to pick up in the Family Zone - FOR FREE!
4. Experience Upgrade
Every week, one lucky fan who has a ticket for the Family Zone will be randomly selected to receive an ‘experience upgrade’. One supporter who has a ticket (including 18/19 Season Ticket holders) in the Family Zone will have the chance to watch the game from an Executive Box! As per last week, a member of Barnsley FC staff will be on the concourse from 2.30pm to select a lucky fan!
5. Fun & Games
Love playing pool? Reckon you can beat your family at Connect 4? The Family Zone will have a number of other activities for children to engage with. This will range from a colouring station, through to table football and Connect 4.
6. Badge Making
Badge making is easy and great fun. Mr Dan will be on hand with their super new badge machine so that fans can make badges that they can keep.
It can turn thick paper into badges so bring in your favourite photos or pictures and go home wearing them.
Sound good? Tickets remain on sale for Saturday's fixture against Bristol Rovers.
