Barnsley Football Club want to wish the very best of luck to all of Gareth Southgate’s England squad as the World Cup starts today.
Three former Reds have been selected to represent the nation in Southgate’s squad. Kieran Trippier, Jack Butland and of course, John Stones, all developed into the players they are today through hard-work, commitment and a fantastic attitude as well as excellent footballing ability. This was evident to see during their spells with the Reds in front of the Oakwell faithful.
