Barnsley FC are proud to reveal the new PUMA away kit for the 2018/19 season, featuring front of shirt sponsor, C.K.Beckett.
Launched ahead of Tuesday’s pre-season friendly against West Bromwich Albion, the bespoke design, featuring the Club’s Latin motto, is predominately black, with flashes of traditional red in the form of ‘Spectemur Agendo’.
Drawing inspiration from Barnsley’s heritage, the black shirt will be accompanied by black shorts and socks in a new fresh design.
Chief Executive, Gauthier Ganaye, is already an admirer.
“I am really pleased we could incorporate the club’s motto into the shirt.” He said. “The design is unique and that is something we wanted to offer the Barnsley public, it makes it special and purely for them. This is a kit we want happy memories in and I know the players have loved modelling it.
“Last season’s away shirt, which we have kept as the third shirt for this season, was inspired by our past season in the Premier League. Both the new kits for this season have seen us incorporate the town of Barnsley into the shirt as well as the badge. This Club is connected to the Town, that relationship can only continue to grow!”
The shirt will be priced at £45 for adult, £38 for children and £33 for infant sizes.
An official announcement will be made regarding an on-sale date shortly.
