Reds striker Kieffer Moore nominated for another award!

5 December 2018

Having already won our fans vote, Kieffer Moore is now nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award for November.

The nominees are as follows:

Elliot Lee (Luton Town)
Former Reds forward Lee scored five goals and made another with a delightful clipped pass against Plymouth, but it was his footballing intelligence which stood out most. Possesses an uncanny knack for arriving in the box at exactly the right moment.

Aiden McGeady (Sunderland)
Impossibly gifted, McGeady’s talent belongs at a higher level than League One. He appeared determined to prove that assertion in an outstanding month in which he used his dancing feet to score four goals and set up two more.

Kieffer Moore (Barnsley)
Of Barnsley’s six league goals in November, Moore scored four and set up one. Two goals were typically towering headers from the giant forward, yet it is his positional sense which stands out most and makes him difficult to mark.

Jason Pearce (Charlton Athletic)
The lynchpin of a defence which conceded just two goals in four games. Dominant in the air, tidy on the floor and a superb organiser of those around him, he also volleyed home a late winning goal from close range at Burton.

The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.
