We take a brief look at the referee appointed to take charge of this weekend's South Yorkshire derby at Oakwell against Sheffield United.
Newcastle-based official Scott Duncan will be the man tasked with controlling proceedings on Saturday afternoon as the Reds face the Blades in the Sky Bet Championship.
A referee in the professional game for 10 years now, Mr Duncan has been a Championship official since 2012.
However, it wasn't until October of 2015 that Duncan took charge of a Reds game - a 2-0 defeat against Walsall at Oakwell.
He later had the whistle as Barnsley defeated Port Vale away from home 1-0 that same season.
The popular Geordie last saw Barnsley action in January's 3-1 loss to Aston Villa at Villa Park.
It's less than a month ago since he took charge of a Blades fixture - their 2-0 home win over Burton Albion.
In 32 matches so far this season, Duncan has shown 94 yellow cards and seven red.
