Paul Heckingbottom felt the Reds weren't at their best last night as they let a 1-0 lead slip in the dying stages against QPR.
A late leveller from Luke Freeman broke Barnsley's resistance as Queens Park Rangers rescued a late point at Oakwell.
Hecky was disappointed with the performance of his team.
"We weren't good tonight," he told the press afterwards. "I thought we deserved the win though, but the manner of their goal was disappointing. In terms of our performance there was so much that we needed to do better. We were better than the opposition but we were still poor.
"Compared to how we have been playing, where our performance levels have been much better than that, and we've got no points, tonight was our worst performance for weeks and we got a point. So it's strange sometimes."
