A game of two halves at Oakwell after a goal in each shares the points.
Cameron McGeehan continued his impressive return from injury to score a superb opener for Paul Harsley’s side in the first half. Warren Clarke levelled proceedings during the second half for Wednesday which meant both teams left the field with a point.
A strong Reds side tested the Wednesday defence multiple times throughout the match, but the visitors also had chances of their own. Nick Townsend was in fine form in-between the posts, keeping Wednesday at bay on a number of occasions.
The U23s are back in action on Tuesday afternoon at Oakwell against Leicester City in the Premier League Cup. Kick-off is at 2pm!
