Up for the award this month, are the following players:
Jason McCarthy
The attack-minded full back has been an ever present in Paul Heckingbottom's side throughout September and has consistently impressed with his tireless performances on the right flank. Having struck up an exciting partnership with Adam Hammill, there will always be a goal threat when in advanced positions.
Harvey Barnes
The Leicester City loanee has made quite the impression since joining in the summer. Blessed with blistering pace, the winger has proved instrumental this month. With assists a plenty and a goal of the season contender against QPR, has he done enough for your vote?
Brad Potts
You'll do well to find someone who works harder, and covers more ground than the Reds midfielder. Having scored his first Barnsley goal against Preston North End, Potts has continued to shine, with his energetic performances playing a pivotal role in the wins against both Derby County and Millwall.
Tom Bradshaw
It's no surprise that he is our top scorer thus far, everything he touches ends up in the net. The striker has continued his terrific goalscoring form from August in to September, hitting another three, taking his tally up to seven. Yet another impressive month for the Welsh international.
Joe Williams
An impressive month has seen the midfielder make 'the engine room' his own. His addition to the centre of midield has certainly bolstered the Reds, giving freedom to those playing in an attacking capacity in-front of him. His tough-tackling and commitment to the cause are characteristics that make him so endearing to the Oakwell crowd.
