International Round-Up

15 November 2017

A number of Reds were in action over the last week with their respective national sides.

After remaining on the bench throughout Wales' trip to France last Friday night, both Tom Bradshaw and Ryan Hedges made substitute appearances last night in a friendly against Panama at the Cardiff City Stadium.

With the score locked at 0-0 at half time, Bradshaw replaced Sam Vokes up front and will have been pleased with his efforts in the second half in what was his home debut and first Welsh outing as a Barnsley player.

He was joined on 71 minutes by Reds teammate Hedges who replaced Ben Woodburn. The former Swansea City winger showed some great bits of skill, and was unlucky not to get Wales a second goal before the visitors snatched a last-minute equaliser.

We were in attendance last night and will bring you EXCLUSIVE content on iFollow later today.

Harvey Barnes was a second half substitute for England's U20 side last night in Zwickau as the Young Lions went down 2-1 against their German counterparts. However, the on-loan winger continued his impressive goal-scoring form, grabbing England a late consolation with another fine finish.

Stevie Mallan started both of Scotland U21s Euro Qualifiers this past week. The Young Scots could only draw 1-1 at home against Latvia last week and last night they went down 2-0 in Perth against Ukraine, results that leave Scotland 4th in their group.
