Adam Hammill's stunning effort against Millwall has been nominated!

The EFL has teamed up with Mitre and The Football on 5 show to give fans the opportunity to vote for their choice of the best EFL goal of 2016. After each club was invited to submit their best goal of the last calendar year and Football on 5 revealed the shortlist for the top 10 goals on Saturday’s show.  
Fans can watch all the contenders and vote for their favourite by visiting the EFL website.
The players and clubs included in the vote are: 

Barnsley | Adam Hammill 29/05/16 vs Millwall.

Brighton | Steve Sidwell 05/11//16 vs Bristol City. 

Bristol City | Lee Tomlin 30/04/16 vs Huddersfield Town.

Cardiff City | Fabio Da Silva 23/02/16 vs Middlesbrough.

Derby County | Darren Bent 05/11//16 vs Wolves.

Hartlepool United | Nathan Thomas 01/10/16 vs Grimsby Town.

Luton Town | Stephen O’Donnell 13/08/16 vs Yeovil Town.

Northampton Town | Ricky Holmes 13/02/16 vs Leyton Orient.

Norwich City | Wes Hoolahan 15/10/16 vs Rotherham United.

Portsmouth | Michael Doyle 08/03/16 vs Accrington Stanley.
Voting closes at midnight on Tuesday 28 March when the 10 goals will be whittled down to five remaining contenders. The overall winner will then be decided on the night of the 2017 EFL Awards. This year marks the 12th anniversary of the event, which takes place at the London Hilton on Sunday 9 April.
