Saturday’s game against Ipswich Town has been designated as our ‘Prostate Cancer UK Matchday’, with activities taking place at Oakwell to help the fight against a disease that will affect 1 in 8 men.
On Saturday we are delighted to welcome Prostate Cancer UK to Barnsley Football Club. Volunteers will be collecting funds outside the ground so please give generously. With the money raised today at Oakwell Stadium fans will be joining the fight to help stop prostate cancer being a killer.
As well as welcoming the EFL’s official charity partner to the ground today, Barnsley fans can continue their support by donating online by CLICKING HERE to take Barnsley Football Club to the top of the Prostate Cancer UK leaderboard.
We are also proud supporters of our growing team of cyclists who will be taking part in Prostate Cancer UK and the EFL’s Football to Amsterdam bike ride this year.
The group of football fans will be riding 145 miles over two days from either London or Barnsley to Amsterdam. They will be joining 500 football fans, staff and legends of the game in the pedal-pilgrimage that takes place on 9-11 June.
