A convincing victory secures a final appearance for the second year running.
Three goals in the remaining 20 minutes saw Barnsley Ladies FC reach the Women’s County Cup Final following a comprehensive 3-0 victory over South Yorkshire rivals, Sheffield United Ladies.
The match was well contested throughout and both teams battled hard before the Reds eventually broke the deadlock following persistent pressure. Two more goals swiftly followed and a place in the final at the end of March against Huddersfield Town Ladies was secured in splendid fashion.
This is the second year running that the BFC Ladies have reached the final and they will face the same opponents as last year, Huddersfield Town Ladies.
