The Reds Gaffer spoke with the press this morning at Oa
It's been a busy couple of weeks for Paul Heckingbottom since the return to Oakwell for pre-season training.
The Reds last week spent valuable time in Hungary with the players put through an intensive week-long training schedule.
On Tuesday evening the first-team were involved in a 3-3 thriller of a friendly; the Reds first outing of the summer away at Guiseley.
Hecky believes there is much work to be done still, but he's delighted with what he's seen so far as the Reds prepare for the new campaign.
"I love the challenge of us being the underdog. I love working with players, building a team. But it's about winning. It's about results at the end of the day.
"The reason we've made the money we have in player sales, the reason we won at Wembley twice and finished higher in the Championship than we'd managed since the year 2000 is because we won football matches.
"We need a winning team and that's why this summer is important to us, because if we get this window right, we can then build on it."
