Reds defender joins the Silkmen until the end of the season on loan to secure vital first team football.
Having made his full Barnsley debut recently against Wolves at Oakwell, Evans has now secured a loan-spell at National League play-off chasers, Macclesfield Town.
The Silkmen are sitting just outside the play-off positions, with games in hand on the teams above. The loan will give the defender some much needed first team football at a highly competitive and busy time of the season.
