Toby Teams Up With Active Response Security

7 December 2017

Barnsley FC are supporting a local initiative this weekend, as Derby County roll in to Oakwell on December 9th.

Toby Tyke has teamed up with a partner and together they will encourage both sets of fans to #Bee_Kind on Saturday afternoon. BuzzBee is a Football mad 3D Character, innovated by Barnsley based Active Response Security Services as a teaching tool to safeguard primary school children. He was the centre piece character used in October for the “Stop Hate” Initiative arranged by Barnsley Council and South Yorkshire Police.

3D animation is renowned for its impact and the animated series is available for use on the Active Response Security You Tube channel. Schools nationally are using the videos as educational tools, encouraging children to #BeeSafe and to help others.

BuzzBee gained national status when the UK HSE Construction Sector adopted him to spread his video to Construction companies throughout the UK to advise on Building Site Safety.

With Toby’s help he will encourage everyone to “get along” and #Bee_Kind

Toby will sign a pledge card to join BuzzBee in the #Bee_Kind campaign.

Ian Leech, Commercial Manager said “It is always an aim of Barnsley FC to be a positive influence on our local community. BuzzBee has been working hard to support young children and adults alike. Together with Toby Tyke they make a great team in raising awareness of an important message. We are delighted to support this initiative and hope everyone will welcome them on match day”.
