The Reds centre half was speaking with the press today at Oakwell ahead of tomorrow night's game against Nottingham Forest.
The North East native doesn't believe the results so far have been truly reflective of some of the performances, and he feels that the Reds will soon begin to find their stride and get points on the board.
"It's been a frustrating couple of weeks really," he told us. "I don't think we deserved to lose on Saturday especially. Apart from that really poor spell at Bristol we've played some good stuff at times, especially in the first half against Morecambe and then on Saturday I think we should have scored more than we did.
"I think it's starting to click though, we're getting there and hopefully the results will come sooner rather than later. It's a team game and we all attack and defend together, there's no pointing fingers here.
"Personally I've worked really hard over the summer to get fitter, I needed to be stronger and I'll keep working at that in the gym, putting a few kilo more muscle on, because it's a really quick and demanding league is this and I want to improve and do my best for this Club."
