Help Angus MacDonald Saddle Up This Summer!

28 April 2017

The Reds defender is cycling from Paris to London in aid of Epilepsy Research UK.

This summer, Angus MacDonald will get on his bike and cycle from Paris to London!

Angus explained his reasons for the mammoth task at hand: “As some of you may know I have previously completed a charity event for Epilepsy to raise awareness and funds for the charity 'Epilepsy Research UK'.

“My sister suffers with epilepsy and after seeing my first seizure, I wanted to make a stand. I want to help. This isn't just for my sister but for others out there who have suffered also.

“So, in the summer I will be cycling from Paris to London in a personal event to raise as much for this charity as I possibly can to spread awareness and do my bit to help fight for all sufferers!

"I'd like to thank the many companies to have sponsored me so far and of course the public who have been fantastic helping me get this sorted.

"This is for you, Sis!"

Tomorrow at Oakwell, Angus will have a team of volunteers with buckets, collecting on behalf of the charity before the match and the Reds players are set to walk out for the match wearing Epilepsy Research UK T-shirts to help raise awareness.

And all profits from sales in Redfearn's Bar before the game will be donated to the charity!
