A number of Reds players were in action over the weekend for their loan clubs.
At Peterborough United’s ABAX Stadium, George Moncur made his loan debut for ‘The Posh’ as a 60th minute substitute in their 2-2 draw with Swindon Town.
Notts County’s Meadow Lane was the venue for Shaun Tuton’s loan debut for Grimsby Town. The Reds forward started for ‘The Mariners’ and impressed in another 2-2 draw, getting 76 minutes under his belt. Fellow Reds loanee Kayden Jackson missed out altogether with a slight knock picked up in training.
Yesterday saw Lewin Nyatanga play the full 90 minutes for Northampton Town as they recorded a terrific 3-2 victory over near-neighbours MK Dons.
