27 September 2016

Grab your copy of the official matchday programme tonight!

We have another action-packed edition of BE RED for you tonight, as the Reds welcome Aston Villa to Oakwell. It’s the 10th game of the EFL Sky Bet Championship season and our last home fixture before the October international break. Get down to Oakwell tonight and grab your copy of the official matchday programme!

This evening’s cover-star interview is with Conor Hourihane. He describes how proud he felt when receiving his call-up to the Irish squad for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers. We asked him about the stunning 2015/16 campaign where he led his winning side up the Wembley steps on two occasions and Conor tells us about his special relationship with the Barnsley faithful.
As well as the big interview, the Skipper has his usual matchday column and is this week’s squad representative in the ‘Stoppage Time’ fan quiz.

We have our regular column from Paul Heckingbottom, reports from all of our recent games, a lowdown on our visitors from the Midlands and an interview with Reds defender Angus MacDonald

There is the regular ‘Bard of Barnsley’ feature with our resident poet Ian McMillan, we have our fans blogger Neil Richardson this week describing the emotional nature of following your team and the latest 1996/97 promotion season hero to speak to us in our season-running ‘It’s Just Like Watching Brazil’ feature is Barnsley-born defender Nicky Eaden!

All this and more in tonight’s jam-packed edition of BE RED!

Make sure you pick up your copy from around the stadium for just £3
