We are delighted to be able to share with the fans the Club’s Official Team Photo for the 2016/17 season!
Following a successful and well planned summer of recruitment on and off the field, the Reds photo shows off the players wearing our record breaking home kit, in front of the CK Beckett South Stand, affectionately known to supporters as The Ponty End!
Due to their fantastic start to the season, Adam Davies, Tom Bradshaw and Adam Armstrong were all away on international duty with Wales and England U20s respectively, meaning they were unable to make the official photo.
Having been given squad number 30 for the season ahead, there was a first time chance for Barnsley academy graduate Jack Walton to be involved alongside fellow Reds youth star James Bree, further showing the progress that the Club are making in developing young prospects for the future.
As well as having the team take part in the photo, there was an exclusive opportunity for the Club’s valued main sponsors to be involved. Each sponsor had their own individual squad photos, thus further strengthening the off-field relationships that Barnsley Football Club has achieved with the local community and businesses.
