The Reds will take on Carlisle in the FA Youth Cup on Friday 16th December.
The draw for the 3rd Round of the FA Youth Cup has taken place and Chris Howarth and Martin Devaney's young charges have been given a home tie against Carlisle United. The Cumbrian based side defeated Chesterfield in Extra Time, with a 2-1 win in the 2nd Round. The Reds enter the competition at the 3rd Round stage, so are yet to make an appearance in the competition this season.
Admission prices and specific open areas of the ground are to be confirmed.
Chris Howarth and Martin Devaney's side have been in excellent form this season, suffering just three defeats in their opening 14 matches of Professional Development League fixtures.
The FA Youth Cup is the most famous youth cup competition in existence, which the Reds have previously played their young charges in, who have gone on to make first team appearances.
The U18s side will be back in action this Friday against Crewe Alexandra on the Oakwell training pitches, prior to the first team match against Nottingham Forest. Kick-off is at 11am and entry is FREE for all fans wishing to attend the match.
