Young Reds to take on Carlisle at home!
The draw for the 3rd Round of the FA Youth Cup has taken place and Chris Howarth and Martin Devaney's young charges have been given a home tie against Carlisle United. The Cumbrian based side defeated Chesterfield in Extra Time, with a 2-1 win in the 2nd Round.The match will take place at Oakwell in December with date and kick-off time to be confirmed.
The young Reds have been in excellent form so far this season, losing just twice in their 13 Professional Development League fixtures played and have just come off the back of a six-game unbeaten run before last weekend's defeat to Nottingham Forest. They bounced back quickly this weekend however with another superb win away from home, with Louis Rowe scoring all four goals in a 4-2 victory over Huddersfield Town.
The most famous youth cup competition in the world gives more opportunities for the squad to further test their mettle.

Chris Howarth and Martin Devaney's side will be back in action this weekend against Hull City on the Oakwell training pitches, prior to the first team match against Wigan. Kick-off is at 11am and entry is FREE for all fans whishing to attend the match.
