The 24-year-old appeared 26 times for the Reds having signed a six-month contract with the Club last August.
Reds Head Coach Lee Johnson said this morning, "Reece has been great and he's been a genuine pleasure to work with.
"I honestly think the time Reece has had in the team has helped James (Bree). We've needed to go through some basics with him.
"We felt we had to go back to basics on defending and the connection with the back four.
"I think he's definitely ready and he's got a good chance to show that."
The Club would like to thank Reece for his efforts during his time at the Club.
