The Irishman will stay with the Reds up to and including January 30th, 2016, when the Reds face Swindon at the County Ground.
The 25-year-old has made seven appearances since joining the Reds, helping Lee Johnson's side to 12 points from his six league outings.
Reds Head Coach Lee Johnson said, "Kevin has been great to have around and has been a solid addition to our group.
"We're really pleased he'll be sticking around for the next three games at least."
