"I’m happy with the way things have gone and I’m pleased to be here for three more games," said Isgrove, who has made 11 appearances for Barnsley.
"I’ve played in the last two games and I felt I’ve done okay and we’ve managed to pick up back-to-back wins.
"I enjoy working with the gaffer here. He’s shown a lot of faith in me and I’ve managed to pick up a couple of Man of the Match awards along the way."
Isgrove will remain a Red up to and including the home match versus Rochdale - taking his emergency loan to the maximum permitted duration of 93 days.
The Saints loanee, who turns 23 next week, says the Reds' dressing room is a much brighter place after back-to-back wins along with the prospect of Wembley on the horizon.
"We got a tough win on Saturday to pick up six points over the last week or so and we’re looking a very threatening team," he added.
"I’ve felt we were a strong group since I came in initially. We didn't get any luck in the bad run we had but we’ve put that behind us and now we can push on.
"There’s a lot to be excited about with this Saturday’s JPT (Johnstone’s Paint Trophy) Final and our form and results on an upward curve. I’m looking forward to playing my part in it.”
