Isgrove has today penned a loan extension from current Club Southampton which will keep him at Oakwell until the end of the current campaign.
The 23-year-old has appeared 13 times for the Reds since joining from Premier League Saints and told Barnsley PlayerHD he's enjoying his football under Lee Johnson.
"I'm enjoying my time here working the gaffer and players," he said.
"Playing week in, week out has helped improve my fitness. We're improving as a group and I just felt extending my stay was the right thing to do."
The Welsh youth international has helped the Reds pick up three wins on the bounce and insists the lads are now looking up the table.
"Now we're looking up with three wins on the bounce," he added. "We're taking each game as it comes and you never know where that may lead us."
