Barnsley Football Club would like to make the following comment with regards to commentary on our Barnsley Player HD subscription service.
We are fully aware of feedback from the fans and we value opinions from our loyal supporters and subscribers to the Barnsley Player HD service.
Having listened to recent comments and supporter feedback, we can today confirm that the Barnsley Football Club media team will now conduct all first team LIVE match commentary on the Barnsley Player HD subscription service going forward.
LIVE and UNINTERRUPTED match commentary will now be conducted and provided by the internal Club media team, including match commentary from fans favourite Matt Bailey and other carefully selected commentary assistants, going forward.
We hope that all Reds supporters will now back this initiative and sign up to www.player.barnsleyfc.co.uk in order to listen to full match commentary - supported by our committed full-match-replay service - and enjoy the full coverage that the Barnsley Football Club media team can offer.
We recognise that our supporter feedback is a key focus of our Football Club, we have listened and delivered the service that our fans have requested.
Thank you for your continued support throughout 2016, which has undoubtedly been a special year for everyone connected with Barnsley Football Club and we now hope that we have made multiple improvements both on and off the pitch, thus further, we can continue to liaise with our fans and supporter groups as we head into 2017.
