Ticket prices reduced in all categories for two South Yorkshire derbies this Season.
We are delighted to announce that the Reds and local rivals Doncaster Rovers have agreed to reduce ticket prices for our two league games between the two teams this Season. Barnsley head to the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday 3rd October, 3pm kick-off, with the reverse fixture taking place here at Oakwell on Saturday 20th February.
Ticket prices for both games will now be as follows:
Senior (Over 65): £14
Young Adult (17-21): £10
Under 17: £5
Under 12: £1
Barnsley FC Chief Executive Ben Mansford commented, “We’re delighted to offer supporters reduced ticket prices for our two South Yorkshire derby games with Doncaster Rovers this season. We sat down with our counterparts at Doncaster last week and discussed how we can allow as many fans as possible to attend what promises to be two exciting derby fixtures this Season. The ticket offer brings significant savings for both sets of supporters with an Adult supporter and an Under 12 supporter now being able to attend the games together for just £21, which we feel offers fantastic value. It’s very rare that you will find other local derbies where regular ticket prices are reduced, so fair play to both clubs for making this reciprocal ticket offer possible and thanks to the team at Doncaster Rovers for playing their part. Thank you to all our supporters for your incredible support so far this Season and we look forward to seeing you at the Keepmoat Stadium in October!”.
Tickets for our away fixture at Doncaster Rovers on Saturday 3rd October will go on sale later this week, initially to 2015/16 Season Pass Holders. Please keep an eye on www.barnsleyfc.co.uk for more information regarding on sale dates. Tickets for the home fixture on Saturday 20th February will go on sale in early February and the reduced prices will be available for all tickets purchased in advance.
