Josh Scowen's Coventry City Reaction

4 November 2015

Reds midfielder Josh Scowen gave his thoughts to the press after last night's 4-3 defeat at Coventry City.

The 22-year-old scored twice as the Reds fought back in the second half but were narrowly defeated by the Sky Blues.

"We let ourselves down in the first half," said Scowen. "We had a right go in the second half and scored three goals.

"To get two goals is nice but I'd rather come home with the three points.

"I think we knew we had nothing to lose, second half. We gave it a right go. We should play like that from the start of the game.

"We've scored three goals which is something we haven't done in a while so that's something to build on.

"I think that's why we're losing, from little individual mistakes.

"It's not nice, because everyone wants to be winning games. We are all together and as long as we don't argue amongst ourselves, we do have the players to get through this.

"We should never be where we are in the table but stilly mistakes have put us there. When we get everyone back fit, and to full strength, hopefully we can push up the league."
