Barnsley Football Club is pleased to confirm goalkeeper Adam Davies has signed a new, two-year contract at Oakwell with an option to extend a further year to June 2018.
The 22-year-old has flourished in his debut season at Oakwell and the Club are delighted to retain his services for at least a further two years.
A summer recruit in 2014 from Sheffield Wednesday, Davies' debut season in professional football saw him go from strength to strength as he made 25 appearances, keeping 10 clean sheets.
Speaking after signing his new deal, Davies said, "I'm really happy to have signed a new deal. I'm really settled here and feel I've improved my game last season.
"I want to kick on now and, hopefully, next season we can push on for promotion."
