The Reds will head to Chesterfield on the opening day of the new campaign on Saturday 8th August.
Then, after heading to Scunthorpe United (w/c Mon 10th), Lee Johnson's side host Burton Albion for Barnsley's first home match of the season.
With plenty of mouth-watering ties across the season, the Reds finish off the campaign at Wigan on May 8th.
