Reds boss Danny Wison told the press this afternoon he's keen on getting his January transfer business done as early as possible.
With all current loan players' deals at Oakwell set to expire next week, Wilson is looking to add to his squad as well as extend one or two current loan players' stay with the Reds.
"We will some things happening in the next week or so, I’m more than sure we will in one or two cases," said Wilson.
"As I said a few weeks back, we’d like to do our business early in January and so, hopefully, there’ll be a couple of things on the table to see in the next week.
"The most difficult thing is actually getting the players to your club. It is a waiting game and you have to have so much patience.
"The ones that will be this week will be loan moves. We’ve put one or two things (permanent) to certain clubs and we’re just waiting for a response on that front."
