Charity becomes new player sponsors of George Waring and Ben Pearson.
We are pleased to announce that our new player sponsor for Reds new loan signing George Waring is Barnsley Hospice
. George recently arrived on loan from Stoke and scored on his Barnsley debut in our last home fixture against Yeovil Town.
The Hospice is also confirmed as new player sponsor for Barnsley's new loan signing Ben Pearson. Ben arrived on loan from Manchester United and made also his debut in the Yeovil Town game, and was named Man of the Match.
Both player sponsorships have been donated by Barnsley Football Club in recognition of the fantastic work done by the Hospice for people in the local community. We hope that these two player sponsorships will help to highlight the incredible work done by the staff at Barnsley Hospice and raise much needed funds. Should either player leave the club before the end of the 2014/15 season, the sponsorship will be transferred to an alternate first team player.
