The 20-year-old has signed an extension to his current youth loan which will now run until March 8th, 2015.
Pearson stormed on to the Oakwell scene by putting in a man-of-the-match performance against Yeovil Town before scoring his first senior goal three weeks later against Port Vale.
To date, the midfielder has completed five full matches for the Reds since his arrival in early January.
