Join us in the Chamber of Commerce Legends Suite for a fun and affordable evening of live comedy from three fabulous up and coming talents. Kick the evening off with a curry, naan bread, poppadoms and pickle tray. Before being fully entertained by our comedy line up!
Compere – Jo Romero
She’s likeable and fun, and the cheeky side to her personality always shines through the nonsense, Jo is a very energetic and expressive performer, her material always sounds truly "felt" as well as being very funny. An act that truly makes you understand that laughter is a combination of joy and fear, Fantastic!
Opening – David Tsonos
If you want serious comedy David Tsonos is not your man. His comedy stems from being the youngest of five boys, babysitting his nephews and his cat. He has appeared at the Vancouver Comedy Festival and can be heard on Satellite radio. Whether it’s a Bar gig, a Comedy Club or a Corporate function David makes them laugh until they can laugh no more. (Well maybe a little more.)
Middle – Jonny Emmett
Jonny is a comedian and actor, famously sharing the screen with Nicholas Cage for 17 seconds, this is before his bubble burst (Jonny's not Nic's)
Jonny first 'stood up' in 2011 and is quickly and quietly establishing himself on the circuit. He has performed at venues all over the country for crowds varying in size from 4 and 1500 people.
Closing – Danny Posthill
Danny Posthill has been making people laugh since the age of 16 after being talked into doing Impressions at his school talent show.
Since discovering his passion for comedy Danny has never looked back. His Versatile act caters for all walks of life with unbeatable stand up and a string of impressions.
