The 32-year-old talks of his new lease of life having joined on a temporary basis from League One rivals Colchester United.
“I’m really enjoying it," Ibehre told Be Red. "It’s good to be back playing football again with a team that has great momentum. I’m absolutely buzzing and it’s great to be part of it. Obviously I’ve known about Barnsley from football in general and that they’re a big club but I didn’t really know too much about them. I didn’t know how big of a club it really was but I’m really excited about the direction it’s going in. The transition from languishing in January in the bottom half – it’s been a massive surge up the league."
