Post-Match Reaction From Oakwell

27 September 2014

Reds Assistant Manager Chris Hutchings gave his thoughts following today's 3-0 defeat to Swindon Town.

"It was very disappointing," said Hutchings. "I thought the first half we did okay. We tried to nullify them getting it at the back and passing it but they're very good at it.

"In the second half as soon as we conceded, we folded. We had a couple of chances but we didn't take them. At the end we gave away some comical goals, to be quite honest.

"There was nothing in it (first half) really, and as soon as the goal went in, that was it really.

"Coley (Devante Cole) had a great chance when he went through but the 'keeper's made a good save with his legs. At leas the hit the target which is the main thing and made him save.

"We have to make sure when we do get chances that we take them. But we have to make sure we don't give silly goals away.

"We're trying different formations to get the best of what we've got and coming out on the wrong end at the moment. We have to go back to basics and be hard to beat."
