The sponsorship sees Hayselden become the official sponsors of the West Stand after agreeing a long term sponsorship agreement.
Barnsley FC Commercial Sales Manager Linton Brown said: “We are delighted and very excited to announce Hayselden as the new proud sponsors of the West Stand. Hayselden have been fantastic supporters and sponsors of Barnsley Football Club for over forty years and are synonymous with not only the Club but the local community.
"This new sponsorship provides significant brand awareness and brand exposure levels which will be viewed not only by the local community but also to a wider regional audience delivering an extended consumer reach. I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of everyone associated with Barnsley Football Club, to personally thank Mick Hayselden for his amazing continued support of Barnsley Football Club”.
Mick Hayselden said, "When the offer of sponsoring the West Stand became available, I considered it too good an opportunity to turn down.
"Having sponsored and supported Barnsley FC for over 50 years, sitting in the West Stand from the age of six with my uncle Jack to eventually being a director for 20 years, the West Stand is very nostalgic place to me on a personal level.
"Our continued sponsorship of Barnsley FC is a very important part of the culture of my company and will continue for many years to come."
The three-year West Stand Sponsorship will see extensive Hayselden brand exposure levels across the entire stand, as well as the VW corporate brand showcased in the south west corner.
