Reds In Johnstone's Paint Pot Challenge

27 October 2014

Barnsley took the lead in the Johnstone's Paint Pot Challenge last week after several members of the squad put their chipping skills to the test!

The Reds eclipsed Portsmouth’s previous best total of 15 points. Barnsley boss Wilson said: “We were delighted to take part in the Johnstone’s Paint Pot Challenge. It’s a tough challenge but a very fun one and the players who took part enjoyed it.

“The lads always finish training by trying to chip balls into a bin so maybe that was perfect practice for the challenge.

“They were two perfect shots by Sam and Martin and they are enjoying having some bragging rights over their teammates.”

Ben Wilde, brand and sponsorship manager for Johnstone’s Paint, said: “Barnsley managed one of the highest scores we have seen on the Paint Pot Challenge and it’s going to be very tough to beat. It’s not easy getting a ball into our paint pot, so to do it twice with 11 shots is very impressive."
